Progress continues with the construction of Westlake Prep.  Many key areas of construction are happening.  The steel has been delivered and the piers have been drilled.  The plumbers have finished their work and now the slab can be poured.  For weeks it looked like nothing was being done, but now things will start to happen very quickly.  Once the shell goes up I think we will start enrolling a lot more students, so if you are thinking about enrolling your child at Westlake Prep, now would be a good time to do it. 

At this point the construction people are telling me that the building should be ready by October 15.  However, our first day of school will be August 25.  We will be starting at Westland Baptist Church, on the Grand Parkway and Highland Knolls.   They have a number of unused classrooms that will suit our needs perfectly.  I really thank Pastor Meadows for helping us out.
